AgreeYa Sponsors HACK-SMC

Software and Solutions Company will Sponsor San Mateo County’s First-Ever Hackathon

FOLSOM, Calif. (June 03, 2015) –AgreeYa Solutions, a leading global software, solutions and services company, is proud to announce its sponsorship of HACK-SMC, San Mateo County’s inaugural hackathon taking place on June 6, 2015. The all-day event will bring together developers, engineers, entrepreneurs, students, techies, activists, designers and citizens of San Mateo County to use open data and technology to design and create web and mobile apps that will improve the community.

“We’re proud to be able to help make San Mateo County’s inaugural Hackathon a success,” said Ajay Kaul, AgreeYa’s managing partner. “We believe it is so important to engage the community and support young talent to build stronger, more collaborative, and transparent partnerships, and HACK-SMC will do just that.”
Participants will have an allotted amount of time to brainstorm and create their application ideas. At the end of the given time, entrants will present and demonstrate their apps before a panel of judges—the top three apps will win cash prizes.
AgreeYa has signed on as a Giga sponsor for the event and will join a bevy of other sponsors including Microsoft, HP, Amazon, and Office Depot.

Registration for HACK-SMC is now open. The one-day event will run from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on June 6 at the Human Services Agency Office at 400 Harbor Blvd., Building B, Belmont, Calif. 94002.
