AgreeYa Solutions Welcomes New Advisory Board Member Roger Akers

Folsom, CA (Dec 8, 2008) – AgreeYa Solutions welcomes new Advisory Board member Roger Akers, founder of venture capital firm Akers Capital LLC.

“We are pleased to welcome such an experienced professional in both the technology services and investment arenas to AgreeYa’s Advisory Board,” said Ajay Kaul, Managing Partner at AgreeYa. “With over 30 years experience in technology consulting and services, including strategy and development, Mr. Akers will help facilitate AgreeYa’s aggressive growth plan both on a local and global level. We are very excited to have his leadership and look forward to his valuable contribution towards the next stage of growth at AgreeYa”.

Mr. Akers’ breadth of professional experience in technology services includes previously managing the development and delivery of large-scale software systems in over 80 client environments. His successful work included developing a regional IT consulting firm, PRODATA Inc., of which he was Managing Partner. With successful growth to over 480 staff, PRODATA Inc. provided management and technical IT consulting to public and private sector clients in the Western US. Subsequent to the successful merger of PRODATA Inc. with a national IT services firm, Mr. Akers developed a consulting practice (Akers-Waterman & Company) that provided management consulting to industry leaders such as Intel and Cisco Systems. Additionally, Mr. Akers helped develop, and invested in, a number of US and international technology companies while serving on several private sector Boards of Directors.

In 1998, Mr. Akers pooled his knowledge and experience in IT systems development and management consulting and founded Akers Capital LLC. After successfully raising the Pac West Technology Fund in 2000, Mr. Akers and his team continue to invest in and mentor a number of emerging technology companies in Northern California and the Northwest. Mr. Akers also serves as an Advisory Principal for international investment bank, Gramercy Partners, participating in projects that provide partnerships and exits for companies between Asia and the US.

“AgreeYa Solutions’ reputation with its customer base on a national and international basis, coupled with its constant striving for excellence, will position the company for its next stage of growth in both technology services and scalable product sales. The founder’s vision of the future is remarkable given the rate of technological change, and I am sure the company will take full advantage of its expanding opportunities,” said Mr. Akers.

Mr. Akers has undergraduate degrees in Accounting (CPA) and Computer Science, and has a Masters of Business Administration. He is Chair Emeritus and continues to be active in the Golden State Capital Network, the Sacramento Area Regional Technology Alliance (SARTA), and McClellan Technology Incubator (MTI).
