CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) is an international recognition instituted by The Carnegie Mellon Software Engineering Institute (SEI) that indicates an organization’s maturity level in software processes, productivity, and efficiency. CMMI is the most stringent level and a company that achieves Level 5 is considered as an equal to the best in the industry. ISO 9001:2008 certification requires a company to consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements.
