AgreeYa Solutions Names Head Of Middle East Operations

Folsom, CA (Sept 1, 2008) – AgreeYa Solutions announced today that Madhukar (Maddy) Joshi has joined their organization as Head of Middle East Operations. He will be responsible for strengthening AgreeYa’s market presence in the Middle East and cultivating a strong presence for AgreeYa in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) market space in India, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, by offering innovative SAP and Microsoft Dynamics business solutions. Officially based in Dubai, Mr. Joshi will oversee the execution of AgreeYa’s Middle East and ERP Business Strategy across various regions.

With this strategy execution, AgreeYa will add the following solutions to their portfolio:

  • SAP (Distribution & Logistics, EPC, Telecom and Utility, Process Manufacturing & Large Textile Companies)
  • Microsoft Dynamics (Navision/Axapta) – Retail & Distribution, BFSI, Textile, Garments, Fisheries, and Personal Care Products

Mr. Joshi brings more than 30 years of experience working with ERP and logistics to AgreeYa. Before joining AgreeYa, he was the Executive Director of Soltius. During his 5-year tenure at Soltius, Mr. Joshi successfully established their ERP business in the Middle East, Singapore, Indonesia, China, Vietnam, India, Bangladesh, and Malaysia. In addition, he was also responsible for deploying Soltius’ telecommunications industry solution across Asia Pacific and the Middle East.

Previously, Mr. Joshi began working with ERP in 1993 at Siemens as a core team member of their SAP implementation for logistics area. He then joined Intelligroup in 1994 as a SAP consultant specializing in the logistics area for Telecom New Zealand and was instrumental in setting up Intelligroup’s first international operation in New Zealand. In 1999, Mr. Joshi moved to Singapore and set up Intelligroup’s Southeast Asian operations.

Mr. Joshi is a graduate in Commerce with a post-graduate degree in Materials Management from the Indian Institute of Materials Management (IIMM), which is the Indian equivalent of APICS USA and is affiliated with the International Federation of Purchasing and Materials Management.
