AgreeYa Solutions Named In Top 500 Diversity Owned Businesses In The US

Folsom, CA (Feb 5, 2010) – AgreeYa Solutions, a California-based technology solutions provider, was recently named in DiversityBusiness.com’s 10th annual listing of the “Top 500 Diversity-Owned Businesses in the United States” (Div500). DiversityBusiness.com is the leading multicultural B2B website in the US, linking large organizational buyers to multicultural product and services businesses.

The Div500 classifies the top 500 diversity-owned (women, Blacks, Hispanics, Asians, Native American and other minority groups) businesses in the US spanning a variety of industries such as technology, manufacturing, food service, and professional services. Over 650,000 businesses participated in DiversityBusiness.com’s 10th annual survey, from which the Div500 was compiled. Those selected for the Div500 range in revenue size from $20 million to over $2 billion. Awards were determined based on annual gross revenue and the business profile of each participating business.

AgreeYa received the following seven awards:

  • 180th in Top 500 Diversity Owned Businesses in the U.S
  • 105th in Top 500 Women Owned Businesses in the U.S
  • 27th in Top 100 Subcontinent Asian American Businesses in the U.S
  • 127th in Top 500 Privately-held Businesses in the U.S
  • 32nd in Top 100 Diversity Owned Businesses in California
  • 19th in Top 100 Women Owned Businesses in California
  • 27th in Top 100 Privately-held Businesses in California

As an award winner, AgreeYa will be honored at the “10th Annual National Business Awards Ceremony and Conference” on April 27 – April 29, 2010. The event brings together America’s “Top Business Owners” and the “Top Fortune 500” companies for promoting business opportunities. The ceremony and conference will be held at Gaylord National Resort and Conference Center in Washington, D.C.

“Receiving these awards is a great accomplishment for AgreeYa given that 2009 was a challenging year for businesses and the economy in general,” said Ajay Kaul, AgreeYa’s Managing Partner. “2009 saw the decline of many businesses in the technology industry due to the economic crisis, which forced many customers to reduce rates or halt spending altogether. Despite these challenges, AgreeYa experienced over 20% growth. These awards give us the recognition for our perseverance in 2009 and increases our momentum going forward in 2010.”
