Global Insight predicts that as the US economy slows down, IT spending in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa will surpass that in the US, with the Middle East being one of the fastest growing IT markets worldwide. Total IT spending in the Middle East should reach $73 billion this year, increasing to $95 billion by 2011.
