Our customer is a food-tech startup based out of Los Angeles. It wanted to create an application that would enable users to save time and money on online food ordering or dine-in bookings. The application would help users get the best restaurant walk-in discounts available in their vicinity and reward them with every purchase. However, the customer faced a roadblock with the implementation of this plan. Most of its partner restaurants were clustered together, and some even shared common walls. In such a scenario the GPS-based user location veriﬁcation would not work for walk-in discounts. The customer sought our help to overcome this challenge.
